IIPE 2009 Emergency Scholarship Appeal
Help Us Raise $5000 in 30 days!
We need your help! Last year at this time the IIPE scholarship fund was at nearly $10,000 – this year it hovers around a few hundred dollars. For every $600 we raise we are able to cover the entire participation costs (food, lodging and local transportation for 8 days) for one participant in need. Considering the costs of other similar programs (on average $2000 for a week long training) this is a great bargain. We believe that your creativity and generosity can help us to raise our goal of a minimum of $5000 in the next 30 days . This is enough money to provide more than 8 full scholarships. Researching Peace Education: Seeking Your Inputs
We are working on several projects that would benefit from your experiences and knowledge of peace education development and literature. We seek to develop a comprehensive on-going, multi-lingual peace education bibliography and also to update the historical background on the field that was published some years ago as "A Review and Projection of Peace Education." Specifically, we need your help to identify as the most significant peace education publications in the last five to ten years. Click here to learn how you can contribute to this project>>
